The turbulent marriage to Sofya and Tolstoy resisted differences in their values and goals, a difference of 16 years in their ages, the differences in their personalities and differences in the way their parents many children. Sofya and Leo both made major mistakes in the way they handled their dispute over his manuscripts and newspapers.
