- Australian- born Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has given birth to twins January 8, 2011 at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. The royal twins were baptized in mid-April 2011 and given the name Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander and Josefine Sofia Ivalo Mathilda.
The twins, a boy and a girl, are brother and sister of Christian Princes, born in 05, and Princess Isabella, born in 07.

The October 8, 03, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark has officially announced the commitment of Australian Mary Donaldson and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark.
Tasmanian-born Mary Donaldson met the Prince of Denmark during the Sydney Olympics in 00. The prince was in Australia with the Danish sailing team.
They met at the Slip Inn Bar in Sydney after the opening ceremony of the Games on September 15, 00.
Six months later, reports emerged of Denmark that Australia had captured the heart of the prince. The "mystery woman" was later identified as Mary Donaldson.
